Tonight, my family and I drove to a street called Holiday Lane. They have a Christmas light display that is synchronized to music. I had never seen anything like it before and it was really cool to watch.
As we get older, we can sometimes forget how magical Christmas lights are. For a few weeks out of the year, people put colored lights all over their homes. It serves no “useful” purpose, but they will climb on icy roofs for the sole purpose of making their homes look magical.
Yes, you see lights as you drive around town, but this year go grab a nice cup of hot chocolate, play some Christmas music and make a special trip to a neighborhood in your town to see some lights! Enjoy the magic of Christmas the way that children do!
